It all started with a scarf, you know the one. Stripes- house colors- the works.

One broken toy knitting machine, and countless YouTube views later, Kneil dived deep into the depths of the knitting world and it felt a little like Hogwarts. There were techniques to master, skills to learn, and fiber arts ended up as diverse and magical as any transfiguration or charms class. Since those days in 2008, Kneil has learned not only to create his own fiber designs, but to spin his own yarn, and to dye his own colorways. It's with these tools that he hopes to give other fiber artists, old and new a little bit of the magic he experiences every day by playing with string and making fancy knots.
